“ This place looked like so much fun. But my wife and I are idiots and we brought our 4 month old on a night they had awesome live music. Our beautiful daughter thought the music was too loud and lost her ever-loving mind. The waitress was super sweet and tried to help us make our little bundle of joy happy, but it was too no avail. We can't wait to come back for a date night when we have a babysitter. Thank you for being so gracious with us. ”
“ Great Cajun spot in Festus. We go to New Orleans every year and the food here is better than a lot of places in the French Quarter. Anything with the Cajun BBQ sauce is excellent including the BBQ shrimp appetizer. The Cajun A La King was excellent. I will get that again. ”
“ What a super fun place! This was my wife’s and my first visit, but I don’t think this will be our last. From the hostess to our waitress, the customer service was extraordinary. Super friendly for sure! And the vibe and decor inside is quite fun. Really neat. But the real draw of a restaurant is the food and we were very pleased with everything we ordered. I’m a sucker for sliced, fried pickles and they have some yummy ones. Clearly homemade. My wife ordered the mahi mahi and the presentation told us it was going to be solid. She enjoyed it. My smothered catfish (in a gumbo like crawfish sauce) was very yummy. Quite a few other items on the menu that sounds delicious so I imagine we’ll be back and try something new. :) ”
“ The place is beautiful. I love all of the bright lights and decoration. They have a conference room and a party room that looks spacious. Their menu is unique and has lots of good choices. They have Taco Thursday with lots of yummy taco choices. My son loved his burger and fries. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend. ”
“ I've driven by the big restaurant nestled up on the hill, but I had never tried it. My friend invited me to meet there and I was really impressed! The decor was fun and festive. It was a cold, rainy night, but I saw and impressive outdoor area! Can't wait to come back when it's warmer weather. We sat at the bar and had a beer. Order Boudin Balls and they were absolutely fantastic. The sauce was SOOO good. I also tried the smothered blackened fish and it was an explosion of flavor! I'm definitely a new fan of Taytro's. We weren't there on love music night, but we want to go back. Prices were reasonable, food was full of flavor, and both meals were hot from the kitchen. “ Wow, it's a great place to eat and relax . I was there early about 4:30, not crowded at all. However, LIVE music every night around 6. My server was fantastic, and that would have been worth the stop alone. The food and dessert were outstanding, worth the price. No bad at all. I highly recommend trying this stop if you're in the area. ”
